Treatment Technology and Research Progress of Residual Xanthate in Mineral Processing Wastewater

چکیده

Xanthate is the most widely used and effective collector in flotation of sulfide minerals. However, residual xanthate wastewater may cause serious environmental pollution even human health hazards. At present, a variety treatment technologies have been developed to degrade pollutants wastewater, with aim meeting safe discharge standards. This work reviews research status recent years. Treatment are evaluated, including coagulation flocculation, adsorption, microbiological, Fenton, ozone oxidation, photocatalytic methods. The reaction mechanisms advantages, as well disadvantages, various summarized. Future on should focus combined methods, which will be conducive achieving high efficiency low cost, no secondary pollution, generating further original innovative technologies.
